Friends and family will host a 50th anniversary reception in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Harris on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at North Park Church. The couple were married on Nov. 7, 1958, at Parkview Church of God with the Rev. H. G. Montague officiating. They have one son, Tim, of Meridian. The couple requests no gifts.
