40th anniversary
George and Garrie Ann Richardson of Meridian celebrated their 30th anniversary with a trip presented to them by their children. The couple were married on Sept. 22, 1967, by the Rev. Harold Harris at Dalewood Shores Lake. Their children are Sheila Turner and her husband, Ken, and Suzanne Sharp and her husband, Jayde. They have five grandchildren. Mr. Richardson recently retired from General Motors and Mrs. Richardson is employed by Rexel Southern. Mrs. Richardson is the former Garrie Ann Ross of Blackwater.
