Mr. and Mrs. Harold W. Bonner of Quitman recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. They were married on Sept. 5, 1958, at 7 p.m. in Meridian.
Mr. Bonner is a successful entrepreneur and is a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. His wife, Virginia Ann Williams Bonner, has worked by his side for many years. She shares her husband's heart for family and is a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Bonner is the daughter of Geneva McGee Williams Bradley and the late Leroy Williams.
Mr. Bonner is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Jessie Bonner.
They established their first home in Atlanta on Oct. 18, 1959. It was filled with joy as they celebrated the arrival of their first child, Harold Richard "Rick." Eighteen months later, Mary Anita, completed their family.
The Bonners raised their family in Martinez, Ga., and family and friends enjoyed time at their weekend house on Clark-Hill Lake. In 1980, the couple moved to Quitman and were blessed with their grandchild, Mary Virginia "Ginny," who loves shopping with her "Nana" and fishing with her "PawPaw." Mary Virginia is
currently pursuing a degree in elementary education.
The Bonners celebrated their anniversary with their children, granddaughter and son-in-law, Billy D. Ligon. They were surprised with a luxurious limousine
excursion and dinner at Zack Garvin.
Family and friends of the couple wish them many more years of love and happiness.
