Ras and Betty Jones will celebrate their 50th
anniversary with a reception on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Newton. The reception is being given by the couple's three children and four grandchildren. The couple requests no gifts.
