50th anniversary

— Milbern and La Rue Miles celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner hosted by their three children and their spouses: Kenny Miles and his wife, Billie Jo, of DeKalb, Sherry Robinson and her husband, Ronald, of Martin, and Ron Miles and his wife, Barbara, of Philadelphia. The couple have five grandsons. Mr. and Mrs. Miles were united in marriage on March 20, 1959, with the Rev. Roland P. Barber conducting the ceremony in the Meridian home of Mr. and Mrs. Preston Miles.
