Bruce and Rose Hopper

— 50th anniversary
Bruce and Rose Hopper of Birmingham, Ala., recently celebrated their 50th anniversary with a trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Hoppers were married on March 14, 1958, in the home of the bride's parents, the late Harvey and Margaret Lloyd of Meridian. Mr. Hopper is the son of the late Roy and Elvis Hopper of Porterville. The couple have four children, Rose Hopper of Madison, Steve Hopper and his wife, Linda, of Ridgeland, Sherry Thurston and her husband, Mark, of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Joey Hopper of Leeds, Ala., and four grandchildren.
