Eddie and Rita Broadway celebrated their 50th anniversary with a reception on Saturday, March 7, 2009, at the home of Mary Piner. The event was hosted by Piner and Lee Chambers, friends of the couple. The Broadways were married March 3, 1959, in Clarke County. They have four children, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
