50th anniversary

— Bobby and Frances Scitzs of Meridian will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, March 8, 2009, with a reception from 2 p.m.-3:30 p.m., in the fellowship hall of Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church. The couple are the parents of Leighann Key and her husband, Ronnie, and Dena Thomas and her husband, Doug. The couple have three grandchildren: Easton Key, Casey Key and Kaleigh Thomas. The Scitzs will also celebrate their anniversary by going on an Alaskan cruise.
