Mr. and Mrs. Stokes

Matthus and Mavis Stokes of Tuscaloosa, Ala. were honored with a 50th anniversary dinner at The Cypress Inn on Dec. 22, 2006. The dinner was hosted by their daughter, Dawn Smith and her husband, Mike, and grandchildren, Marshall and Morgan Smith.

The couple were surprised with Meridian area family guests.

The Stokes were married on Dec. 23, 1956, in Meridian.
