In the year ahead, there are indications that noticeable improvements will be made in your social life. It looks as if you could meet someone who will introduce you to a totally different group, which will open up a whole new world.



LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23) -- Don't take it personally and reject a suggestion or idea presented by others. Be honest about the proposal, and be supportive if they offer superior thinking.



SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 22) -- Yesterday was yesterday, so don't let any previous misunderstandings set the ground rules for how you treat someone at this time. Give the person the benefit of the doubt, and start with a fresh scorecard.



SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23-Dec. 21) -- It's foolhardy to depend on outside circumstances to improve your position in life. You already have all that you need. Trust your abilities, and boldly use them.



CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) -- If you're smart, you'll perceive your duties as opportunities instead of chores. What might outwardly appear to be a sackful of burdens could be a bagful of lucky breaks.



AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) -- Recognize the difference between pushing and shoving, firing and falling back. If you are merely assertive and aggressive when the situation calls for diplomacy, success might be denied you.



PISCES (Feb. 20-March 20) -- In situations that call for implementing constructive changes, by all means, do so. However, be careful that you don't forcefully try to shove around an immoveable object.
