If you are particularly careful and frugal with your resources in the year ahead, this time next year you will find yourself in a solvent position. If you aren't cautious, things might change -- but they won't be for the better.



LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) -- That crown of yours could be a bit too tight on your head, causing you to blow small infractions out of proportion. Don't create unnecessary discomfort for innocent people who are doing their best.



VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) -- You know better than to jump into financial situations without thoroughly investigating them first, yet that might be exactly what you'll do. The rose could be full of thorns.



LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23) -- Don't expect others to behave in a reasonable manner if you aren't doing so yourself. When evaluating events, remain patient, poised and logical. Keep all wayward emotions under wraps.



SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 22) -- The only sure way to get the desired results is to roll up your sleeves and do all the necessary work yourself. It's unrealistic to depend on others to do things exactly the same way as you do.



SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23-Dec. 21) -- Strive to be congenial and go along with the will of the majority. Even if you believe what you want to do is far better, don't make unnecessary waves when outvoted.



CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) -- If you're caught off base and find that you're unsure of what to do next, follow the ruling of the umpire. Arguing about the facts as presented could get you thrown out of the game.



AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) -- Avoid all philosophical or political discussions with those who are important to you, because they could take on exceptionally serious undertones and cause an unpleasant situation.



PISCES (Feb. 20-March 20) -- Just because something worked out well for another doesn't necessary hold that it will work out the same for you, especially if it's in the financial arena. Timing is everything, and the moment may have passed.



ARIES (March 21-April 19) -- Before you get angry, consider the credibility of the source from which you're receiving the unpleasant information. Use logic to ferret things out and soothe your feelings.



TAURUS (April 20-May 20) -- It is rare for you to lack patience when called for, but if you get caught off guard, this could be the case. If you are in the middle of a task, pause long enough to be safety conscious first.



GEMINI (May 21-June 20) -- Avoid groups or cliques that contain individuals who have a tendency to upset you. You might not be in the mood to laugh things off as you usually do, and an unpleasant incident could occur.



CANCER (June 21-July 22) -- A sense of humor can usually help offset an unpleasant comment or incident brought on by another. You may not have that patience or tolerance at this time, however, so be sure to follow your best behavior.
