In the year ahead, your biggest enemy will be doubting your own abilities and talents, causing you to do little or nothing with them. Remember, you can only yield a rich harvest if you first plant the necessary seeds.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20) -- Just because you're dependable doesn't mean everyone else is. Don't rely too heavily upon an associate who has proven to be unreliable in the past. The leopard doesn't change its spots.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20) -- Unless you make it a point to be as methodical as you can with your work, there is a good chance you'll have a tendency to make multiple errors. Map out a game plan, and follow it to the letter.

CANCER (June 21-July 22) -- It might be easy to allow wishful thinking to induce you into an ill-advised, speculative situation. Don't be foolish enough to think you can beat the odds on a long shot.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) -- You could quickly upset the entire household if you spring an unexpected change on the family without considering their plans or concerns. Check with everyone else first before acting on your desires.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) -- Be cognizant of your physical and mental capabilities before attempting to engage in an activity that requires the use of both. If you overestimate your abilities, you'll botch the project.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23) -- Your expectations of making a big killing could be way over the line. Before you plunk down hard-earned money on what is a chancy gamble, make sure that you can afford a possible loss.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 22) -- Today's conditions can be extremely unpredictable and disquieting, so if you have to contend with a testy matter, beware that you do not overreact or behave in an unbecoming manner.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23-Dec. 21) -- Your vivid imagination can play big tricks on you, such as magnifying negative situations and minimizing positive indicators. Try to think "win" at all times.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) -- Don't think you have to partake in activities with only the "in-group" in order to have a good time; in fact, the opposite might be true. Be open to all types of associations.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) -- It's likely to take a lot of tenaciousness on your part to achieve more meaningful objectives at this time. Trying to do things the easy way may only complicate matters further for you.

PISCES (Feb. 20-March 20) -- Mistakes could easily slip past you if your mind is on emotional issues instead of the work at hand. To be safe, get someone to check your facts and figures with regard to anything that's important.

ARIES (March 21-April 19) -- You'll be considered a selfish acquaintance if you try to take advantage of another by reneging on an obligation you owe him or her. Your reputation will suffer in the long run.
